How Much Does a Filipino Virtual Assistant Cost?
The honest answer is 'it depends' — but here's exactly what it depends on, and the published rate card that reflects it.
It's the first question almost every business owner asks: how much does a Filipino virtual assistant actually cost?
The honest answer is that it depends — but that's not a cop-out. The cost of a virtual assistant varies for specific, understandable reasons. Once you know what drives the number, the published rate makes sense. Here's the full picture, and our card at the end of it.
What actually drives the cost
Four factors move the price more than anything else:
- Specialization. A general administrative VA costs less than a specialist. A GoHighLevel virtual assistant, a marketing-automation expert, or an experienced executive assistant sits higher, because the skill is harder to find.
- Experience. A professional with several years of hands-on work commands more than someone starting out — and usually needs far less hand-holding.
- Hours. A part-time month is 80 hours. A full-time month is 160. More hours means a better effective rate per hour.
- Engagement type. Ongoing support is billed monthly. A scoped project is quoted per outcome. They're priced in different ways.
The common pricing models
You'll generally encounter cost quoted in one of four ways:
- Hourly — you pay for time worked. Flexible, and good for variable workloads.
- Part-time retainer — a set number of hours a month for a fixed fee. Predictable, and the most common choice for ongoing support.
- Full-time — a dedicated professional working your full schedule. The best effective rate per hour, suited to a steady workload.
- Project-based — a fixed scope for a defined deliverable, such as a CRM setup or migration. You pay for the outcome, not the hours.
Our rates
Here is what we charge. A part-time month is 80 hours, a full-time month is 160, and all figures are US dollars per month except the project column.
| Role | Part-time80 hrs / month | Full-time160 hrs / month | Projectper hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Executive Assistant | $960 | $1,760 | $14 |
| Social Media Manager | $1,120 | $2,080 | $16 |
| Digital Marketing Professional | $1,360 | $2,560 | $19 |
| GoHighLevel & CRM Specialist | $1,760 | $3,360 | $25 |
Scoped projects — CRM builds, GoHighLevel onboarding, automation setup — are quoted per outcome, from $1,500.
The pattern is the one described above: the more specialized and experienced the professional, the higher the rate. Full terms are on our pricing page.
Why the cheapest option is rarely the cheapest
It's tempting to sort by lowest rate and pick the bottom of the list. In practice, that's often the most expensive route:
- Rework costs more than the savings. A bargain hire who needs everything corrected can cost you more in your own time than a capable professional would have charged outright.
- Turnover is expensive. Re-hiring and re-onboarding every few months burns time and momentum.
- Mistakes in the wrong place hurt. A misconfigured automation or a botched CRM migration can cost real revenue.
The goal isn't the lowest rate — it's the best value: someone experienced enough to work independently and get it right the first time.
Freelance vs. agency: what you're paying for
A freelancer's headline rate can look lower because you're absorbing the hidden work yourself — screening candidates, vetting skills, onboarding, and carrying the risk if it doesn't work out. A managed partnership folds that work into the price: the professional is pre-vetted, matched to your needs, and supported over time. That's the fifth thing that moves the number, and for many owners the trade is worth it.
How we approach pricing
We publish our rates because a number you can't see is hard to plan around. What the monthly rate covers is set out in full on our pricing page: sourcing, screening, verification, matching, onboarding through the first 30 days, ongoing support, and contractor administration.
There is a $500 role activation fee on acceptance, credited in full against your first monthly invoice. It is not an extra cost. If we cannot put at least two candidates in front of you that you are willing to interview within 14 days, the activation fee is refunded in full.
After that, you pay the first month in advance once you've chosen your professional, then monthly in advance. Either side can end an engagement with 30 days' written notice, and there's no exit fee.
If you'd like to talk through which line fits your role, that's what a free consultation is for. We'll cover your needs and how the matching process works.
The bottom line
A Filipino virtual assistant is a cost-effective way to add capable support to a growing business. "How much" comes back to specialization, experience, hours, and how you engage — which is what the rate card reflects. Decide the scope and skill your role genuinely needs, and read the number off the card.
